Overview
Serious Adventure Pack is a 1.7.10 modded Minecraft pack with elements of combat, exploration, adventure, quests, group activities and progression. The more you play, the more you discover. Every completed quest has the ability to unlock cool new features that make the game even more fun. Want to start Botania? Go to the Twilight Forest and kill the Naga! Or how about building your own RFTools dimension? Prove yourself first by going to the moon!Combat
Mobs are stronger and more plentiful, often requiring multiple people to tackle them. There are plenty of "hunt X" quests in the pack that can be completed solo or in a group for great rewards, making it even more worthwhile.Exploration
There are lots of different dungeons and structures to explore and conquer. The loot from dungeon chests have been altered quite a bit, and you’ll be able to find plenty of awesome goodies. In fact, certain special items can ONLY be found in those chests.Custom Ore Gen
Most ores have their own custom unique ore gen, and are difficult to find. But once you do find one, you’ll be set for quite a while since it’s so large in size. Certain ones can only be found in specific dimensions, such as the twilight forest, mars, and the moon. You don’t have to worry about getting lost though, because there’s an in-game guide that will display all of their locations.Quests
Thanks to the mod CustomNPC, we were able to create our own little quests. The main story line focuses on opening a portal that can transport users to the ultimate battle where they have to defeat the Enderdragon. Strongholds are disabled, so the only way to get there is by completing the main story to the very end. Throughout the journey, there will also be several smaller quests that range from collecting items to hunting down powerful enemies. Some quests can reward you with items that you won’t be able to find anywhere else, while others may unlock new elements of game play.Improved Fishing
Fishing is boring right? WRONG! Fishing now has its own quests and progression. Unlock new fishing gear and improve the loot and items you can aquire by spending some time with your new favorite sport! This includes items that can only be aquired by fishing or completing fishing quests.Other Changes
- No sleeping, like the good old pre-bed days! Mobs and nights are actually scary, so plan your day ahead.
- Excluded some "All-in-one-block" mods such as MFR
- Excluded certain mods that felt too overpowered such as Draconic Evolution
- No Tinkers Construct, give the five billion other tools a chance for once!
